Iksan Station is located in Iksan City, Jeollabuk-do, and all trains passing through Honam Line, Jeonla Line, and Janghang Line stop. It was also the end of the Janghang Line since 2008.
익산역은 전라북도 익산시에 있으며, 호남선, 전라선, 장항선을 경유하는 모든 열차가 정차한다. 2008년부터 장항선의 종점도 되었습니다.
In Iksan Station Plaza, there is a monument for civilian victim by US air-force and a monument for 3.1 movement.
It is also the site of the explosion accident that occurred around 9:15 pm on November 11, 1977. At that time, 115 people were killed and 598 people were injured, causing damage to surrounding stores and houses.
익산역 광장에는 미군오폭피해자위령비와 3.1운동기념비가 있습니다.
1977년 11월 11일 오후9시15분경 발생한 이리역폭발사건의 현장이기도 합니다. 당시 59명사망 1158명이 부상, 주변 상가와 주택에 많은 피해를 끼쳤습니다.
