This cache is located near the Jennings Baptist Church. The current church building was built on land donated in 1894 by the Hadaway family. LRL Jennings who was a Confederate Army veteran, was the first Pastor. The Church is still active today.
This cache reflects the dark thoughts of a young boy as he comtemplates his life during the depression era. The 1994 movie, Neon Bible, takes place while David is traveling on a train, thinking and remembering. No one remembers something from the past totally, memory functions in fragments as in this movie. It is up to the audience to fless out the meeing of David's thoughs and how they relate. This could be one of the darkest of times as the movie depicts life during the Depression Era of the 1030's. The Taliaferro County residents who were extra members of the cast include: John Allen, Sam Greene, Myrtle Kendrick and Louis Greene.
