On April 3,2013 KDSCL offically changed its name from KDSCL to Pathways Abilities Society so we updated the cache name to Pathways Abilites Society Cache - its the same cache with a few more "treasures " added to celebrate the name and logo change . Have fun rediscovering this cache :)!
October is Community Living Month.Throughout BC and across Canada during October communities host festivities to celebrate the diverse contributions people off all abilities bring to Canadian society.
Pathways Abilities Society ( formerly KDSCL - Kelowna & District Society for Community Living) is a not-for -profit society that has been serving adults with developmental disabilities in Kelowna and area since 1953. Our mission is to assist people with disverabilities to reach their
individual goals and to participate as equal members of the community.
If you find our cache Monday through Friday between 8 and 4 pop in to say "HI" - we would love to meet you !
Cache is in an inner and outer container, please leave outer container in place, open it and remove inner container.
Items in our cache include:a flashlight, a fridge magnet, 5 balloons, 4 stickers, 2 baseball hats & various Community Living items.

For the 300th cacher, there is a prize available inside the Pathways centre between Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Just walk in and ask one of the staff for your geocaching prize. If you find the cache when the centre is closed, we'll message you and make arrangments for getting the prize to you. On June 10, 2013 the Pathways will be celebrating our 60th Birthday. We will be having celebrations throughout the year including an Open House in October. Stay tuned for details - we would love to meet the geocachers that have visited our cache over the past couple of years !
