Geocache Description:

We love camping at Ross Lake. Sometimes we camp in the Skagit Valley Provincial Park and sometimes in the North Cascades Park in Washington. Usually we camp at "Winnebago Flats" just over the border : it is free, flat and the water is always safe to drink. Ross Lake is in a beautiful wide valley with many rocky mountains around the lake.

This cache is at the entrance to the Skagit Valley Provincial Park. There are 2 campsites in the park, Silver Tip and Ross Lake. There is also a special campsite for campers and their horses :) The Skagit is well known to fly fishers, and Ross Lake is a great lake for boating and swimming. There are also many nice hikes in the park for hikers of all abilities and some trails for horse back riding. A few of the trails connect to Manning Park and Chilliwack Lake Park.

Congratulations irlpguy and SOLONM for the FTF!
