ACT 1000 Club No. 4 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sol de lune: Time for this series to go. With the advent of the ‘power trail’, the goal of finding 1000 caches can now be achieved over a good weekend. With that in mind, coupled with the fact that not all cachers stats are available to be found, the relevance of the series is diminished.

Thanks to all found who the cache, which has now been collected and removed…

Geocache Description:

Time for the next edition of the ACT 1000 Club series of caches. And those newest members of the club are:

Black Bunny,

wing6rider,

allrounder,

Jemalong and Family,

M_Family, and

Oz Lurker.

The cache is not at the above co-ords, but you will find it at S35 21.ABC and E149 08.DEF and to do so you only need to find the cache that the above cachers have claimed as their 1000th find and answer a simple question.

See how you go........

__________________________________________

Black Bunny
The 1000th cache was claimed during May 2010 and the log states it was their 1000th find.

D = The second number in the DAY the find was made.

wing6rider
W6R’s 1000th cache was claimed in April 2010 and is probably one of the biggest thing that has happened in the GC.com world in Australia. His log states that the ‘find’ is number 1000.

Add the two numbers in the GC code to find F

allrounder

allrounder made her 1000th find in July 2010 and just as a hint, it happened to be one of my caches.

Again, the log states that it is find number 1000.

E = the number of pathtags allrounder left in the cache (you'll need to read actual the log) minus 2

Note added 4/1/2014: Unfortunately, stats for allrounder are not available, so to ensure you can still find the GZ co-ords, the answer here is E = 0

Jemalong & Family.

The 1000th find was another claimed in April 2010 (but not the same as wing6rider’s), and was found almost 4 years after their 1st. Well done on number 1000.

And once you read the log, you’ll know it is number 1000.

The cache was found on X/Y/2010. X+Y = C

M_Family

As at today’s date, M_Family are on about day 296 of their streak for consecutive days with a find. However back on about day 262 (approx), they made their 1000th overall find. And as an added hint…….the cache was one of mine and was an appropriate cache to find as their 1000th.

A = They made the find on RS/09/2010 S-R = A

OZ Lurker

The last member for this edition of the 1000 Club and they should have received their ‘package’ from GC.com just recently after claiming their 1000th cache sometime in Sep 2010

The 1000th cache for Oz Lurker is old, in fact you may find it hard to find another one in Australia that is older. (How’s that for a hint) The log states that the find is number 1000.

B = the only number in the GC code.

Checksums South 25 - East 35

So, once you have all the answers and your checksums match, head on out and grab the cache.

Cache Note:
Please note……there is no need to cross any fences once you arrive at the general GZ area. Simply go through the step through gate and follow your GPS, it will lead you to where you need to go.
