A challenging hide (depending on your luck) in a public area,
with parking usually available on the road near this cache.
Alternatively, there is plenty of parking available in the center
of Heswall.
Most people don't realise Poll Hill is the highest point on the
Wirral Peninsula, often attributing the title to Thurstaston,
Bidston Hill, or Caldy Hill. This is probably because these two
hills rise further from the 'zero ground'. where as here in
Heswall, you're already quite high up. But Poll Hill rises to a
"whopping" 108m above Sea Level, with Thurstason being 91m, Caldy
77m and Bidston just over 70m. Check out the OS Maps if you don't
believe me! =P
Cache is hidden as close to the 'summit' as I could manage, just
off path in a small wooded area - no need to go scrambling too far
into the bushes!
-------------------
Cache is a micro (similar to a 35mm Film Canister) but the way
it is hidden requires a little forethought. Location is easy to
spot and get to, but you need to use your highly evolved
monkey-puzzle-solving brains to claim your prize and log your
find!
IMPORTANT: Please reset the cache EXACTLY as you found it. If
you have any problems with resetting, please contact me A.S.A.P.
and I can sort it out.
Enjoy the cache!
