Located in Cathkin Braes Country Park. This cache is near to the highest point in Glasgow and has great views on a clear day over the city to the Campsie fells, Kilpatrick Hills, Ben Lomond and beyond.
Cathkin Braes Country Park has various types of terrain woodlands, plateau, grassland, heath and craggy slopes. There is a great network of paths for visitors to follow around the park which covers almost 200 hectares.
An international standard mountain bike circuit is planned for the area and this will be used as part of the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Many of the existing paths are used by mountain bikers, but please observe the 'Scottish Outdoor Access Code' regarding responsible access, see www.outdooraccess-scotland.com.
Cache is a clip lock type container with log book and some swaps. Please re hide well.
