Geocache Description:

Please bring your own pen.

This dam belongs to Vaalharts Water. Water is transferred from Warrenton Weir to Bull Hill via a canal. The dam is used to balance the flow to the different farms, taking in a steady flow of water and releasing it again to the farms whose water needs change every 12 hours. In order for this to work without pumping requires careful control of water levels using adjustable sluices.

Final coordinates:

S 28 03.(AxBxC)+(A+B)
E024 41.(CxCxB+106)

A= amount of sluices at the intake side of the dam.
B= amount of sluices at the outgoing side.
C= amount of steps at the outgoing side.
