This cache is one of a set of caches that is a scale model of the solar system where 1 mile along the Little Miami Bike trail (not a straight line between points) = 1 astronomical unit (AU). An AU is the distance from the Sun to Earth = 92,955,807 miles. At this scale the moon is only 14 feet away from the earth. Hope you enjoy traveling the solar system and appreciate the vast scale of the outer planets! Geocaching sainthood for anyone who rides the whole length in 1 ride! Most are traditionals, but due to cache spacing, etc. a few are multis where the first stage is at the correct distance.
The Sun is located near Hedges Road south of Xenia and Pluto is in Loveland. There are codes in each of the caches (A=#, B=#, etc). Record those for some bonus caches (for those who do the whole solar system, that is.) The numbers are recorded on the logs, on laminated sheets, and often written on the containers. If you should ever need to replace a log, please copy the codes onto the replacement log. Note: the caches each have 2 codes for redundancy in case any 1 of caches are temporarily unavailable. The bonus caches are generally in the vincinity of pluto – for anyone who wants to do the ride in one shot.
