Deze cache ligt in het Amerongse bos, het hoogste en oudste bos op de Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Het bos, gelegen op de 69 meter hoge Amerongse berg, werd eind 18e eeuw aangelegd om de kasteelheren van Kasteel Amerongen te kunnen laten jagen. Een markant deel van dit bos is het Sterrenbos. Het Sterrenbos heeft de vorm van een wiel met spaken. Centraal in het midden staat de Eenzame Eik, acht beukenlaantjes vormen de spaken en alles wordt omsloten door een cirkelvormige laan.
De cache ligt in een natuurgebied, dus respecteer de regels in het gebied. Honden zijn welkom, mits aangelijnd. De cache kan gevonden worden langs het pad. Laat geen afval achter en beschadig niets. De cache bestaat uit een grijze pvc-pijp.Er is weinig plaats voor TravelBugs.

This cache is located in Amerongen forest, the highest and oldest forest on the Utrecht hill-line. The forest, located on the 69 metre high Amerongen hill, was planted by the end of the 18th century to facilitate hunting by the landlords of Amerongen Castle. One interesting part of the forest is the, so called, "starforest", named after its shape. But, to be honest, it's more wheel-shaped. A lonely oak is the centre of the forest, surrounded by 8 lanes formed by beech-trees. Everything is connected by a circular lane around the forest. .
As the cache is located in a nature conservation area, please respect the normal rules for these areas. Dogs are welcome, but have to be kept on leash. The cache can be found close to the trail. Don't leave trash behind and don't damage anything. The cache is constructed of a grey pipe and contains a qr-code to log the cache, thus no logbook! This cache leaves little space for TravelBugs.
