Skulptura Lietuvos krepšiniui

2007m. rugpjucio 29 d., išlydint šalies rinktine i Europos krepšinio cempionata, Vilniuje prie „Siemens“ arenos iškilo ispudingu matmenu – 5,7 metru aukšcio ir 30 tonu svorio skulptura Lietuvos krepšiniui. Tai kol kas vienintele tokia skulptura visoje Europoje.
Skulpturos Lietuvos krepšiniui postamente yra imuryta kapsule su garsiausiu Lietuvos krepšininku, treneriu vardais, taip pat krepšinio kamuolys. Ant šio postamento yra iškile penki granito luitai, o ju viršuneje puikuojasi veidrodinis plieno rutulys. Kompozicija simbolizuoja krepšinio kamuoli laikancia ranka. Sios skulpturos autorius TaDas Gutauskas.

Monument dedicated to Lithuanian basketball

In 2007 on 29th of August, when all Lithuania was seeing national team off in European basketball championship, in Vilnius near the "Siemens" Arena raised an impressive dimensions - 5.7 meters height and 30-ton monument dedicated to Lithuanian basketball. It is still the only such statue in Europe.
In Lithuanian basketball sculpture pedestal there is a capsule with the most famous Lithuanian basketball players’ and coaches’ names, also there is basketball ball in it. On the pedestal there are five granite slabs with the steel mirror ball. Composition represents a hand holding a basketball ball. Author of this monument is TaDas Gutauskas.
