Geocache Description:

The signpost stump.

This cache is hidden along the west mendip way, a 30 mile route across the southern edge of the Mendip escarpment from Wells to the sea at Uphill visiting Wookey Hole, Draycott, Priddy, Cheddar, Shipham, Wavering Down, Loxton and Bleadon Hill.
The cache itself is a small (0.7L) plastic box covered in camoflauge tape. The cache is placed less than 10 paces away from the tree stump next to the signpost, and is on the opposite side of the path to the river.
This cache can be done in a series with Under the stump (#1 Tree stump trail) and Under the rock (#2 Tree stump trail) and parking to complete these three caches can be found at Tyning's farm.

Please re-hide this cache exactly as you found it so that it is not muggled.
Thank you to the forestry commission for their kind permission to place this cache.
