Geocache Description:

Hide is actually a difficulty 1. Rated a 2 due to muggles.

Places like this are fewer and farther between. It seems as if they are becoming an endangered species due to advancements in technology.

Another possible endangered species, also partly due to new technology, are logs for caches which are something other than cut and paste, TFTC, logged from phone, found with xyz or similar type entries and nothing more.

Even the simplest hide takes time, effort and expense from deciding to place a cache, obtaining and preparing the correct container, looking for the right place, taking several coordinate readings, filling out the form and waiting for it to be published. One of the few joys a cache owner gets after placing a cache is reading the finder’s log about the caching experience.

There is not a puzzle to solve to find this cache. It is at the posted coordinates. It is listed as a mystery since I am asking each cacher to write a specific log.

In order to have some fun while making it easy for those who prefer to keep their logs short and quick, I request anyone who finds this cache only put a period (.) in the log section. (First to find may add “FTF”.) If by the slim chance, one cannot find this cache, just put a period in the DNF log.

I know this will be difficult for some who enjoy writing something of their experience even at a LPC but will be a delight to others. Either way, this will be the quickest log most will have ever written if one chooses to participate.

PLEASE NOTE: Mandatory non-geocaching related additional logging requirements were banned by Groundspeak in April 2009. They can only be an optional task. This means I cannot delete your log if you decide to write something else. However, I think it would be funny to see nothing but “.” in each log and hope each cacher will play along.

Thanks for the idea, GT5.
