This Cache is Located on Top of a Mountain overlooking Steamboat Lake and Hahns Peak. Beautiful mountain tundra beckons for a blanket and picnic while taking in the fabulous view. While accessable in the winter by snowmobile, skiis or snow shoes....this Cache will be deep in the snow, no chance of finding it, nor recommend getting there unless you are a professional at these sports. Starting late June to Mid October depending on snow will be your best bet. Bring your Camera!!!
This Cache is Located on Top of a Mountain overlooking Steamboat Lake and Hahns Peak. Beautiful mountain tundra beckons for a blanket and picnic while taking in the fabulous view. You can drive quite a bit of the way and then will need to hike on a well maintained trail about an hour or less. Some steep cliffs on the side. But a good hike for the kids. While accessable in the winter by snowmobile, skiis or snow shoes....this Cache will be deep in the snow, no chance of finding it, nor recommend getting there unless you are a professional at these sports. Starting late June to Mid October depending on snow will be your best bet. Bring your Camera!!!
