The Greencastle Antrim High School has recently started a geocaching club and wanted to put in more caches around the school. As a strong supporter of both geocaching and libraries I figured the local library, which is walking distance from the school, would make a great location for a cache. This cache was placed with permission at the Lilian Besore Memorial Library in Greencastle. It is a two-stage multi-cache.
The Lilian S. Besore libary is a local gem. The staff is helpful, the atmosphere is pleasant, and there are a variety of activities available for the whole family. There are fun areas set up for small children, teens, and adults of all ages. Oh, and I should mention there are about a gazillion books too! Please respect the wishes of the library staff and search for this cache during regular library hours. The library hours are: o Monday 1:00pm - 8:00pm o Tuesday 9:00am - 8:00pm o Wednesday 9:00am - 5:00pm o Thursday 9:00am - 8:00pm o Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm o Saturday 9:00am - 3:00pm o Sunday CLOSED Go ahead, visit the library. You know you'd like to read a good book! The first stage of this cache is the most difficult. You will need to find a micro container which will give you the information you need in order to get to the second part. You may want to bring a pen to write down what you find there. The second part of the cache is a regular sized container that contains a log and room for trade items, travel bugs, and coins.
