Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Topanga State Park and fairly close to a trailhead off Old Topanga Canyon Road. I recommend parking at the Backbone Trail trailhead (indicated by a small horse trail sign) and taking the second right hand turn off that leads between two signs. (The first right would lead you to "Paleolith's Farewell Cache.") This trail loops around the meadow and up closer to Hondo Canyon, where it eventually meets up with the Backbone tail on the way to "The Meadows" cache.

This pretty meadow is a place that Zephyr's brother Crow dog, used to romp around in. The cache is nestled close to a tall towering oak tree, which I definitely suggest climbing around in, and then settling on a limb with a snack.

The first finder suggested that I may have accidently place the cache on the side of a wood rats nest that I thought was just a sticky spot. If future finders think I might need to move this cache, please feel free to adjust it's position slightly, as long as you let me know. I'll be out of town for alittle while or I would do it quickly myself. Thank You!

You're looking for a medium sized tupper-ware container, disguised by cameo tape. The original contents include our first travel bug ever (Brian the Flyin' Lion), surf cd mix, Hello Kitty ice pack, bag of marbles, matchbox car, horse charm and necklace, bouncy ball, 2 cup-onk balls, turtle, dinosaur, skull iron on rhinestones, and of a small logbook with pencil. Please trade evenly and hide back away as found.
