This cache has been archived.

ancient seekers: As this is not searched for much nowadays and the fields are going to be very muddy in the coming months we think it time to archive now and start a new series in another location. Thanks to all who have done this series, our first one back in 2010

The walk of about 3 miles is along quiet lanes and waymarked footpaths through farmers fields

The series leads to and from St Michael and all Angels Church Dewsall. This small church is dated to around 1340 and has been suggested that some of the masonry may be Norman. The church was heavily restored in the 19th century. Nearby is Dewsall Court a grade two listed building dating back to the 17th century. To the east there was once a medieval village nothing can now be seen.
