The Day before Veterans day, I’ve decided to have a cache event in the Lovely College hill area.
My base of operations is “The College Hill Coffee shop” There is free Wi Fi and thanks to the permission of the shop owner, Tina the event is a GO!
I’ve decided to open the event for the day, since I will be camped out at the Coffee shop at the time of open, I will be handing out the new SOON TO BE PUBLISHED cache sheets for all to grab.
In order to be fair, I will clock cachers in and out to get a fair time line on the FASTEST cacher!
The following challenges will be available for cacher’s to try and accomplish.
1st- All of my caches located in the College hill area will be available for everyone to claim for the first time or re-claim to add to the numbers!
2nd- There will be new caches in the College hill area for all to grab, only you must FIRST stop in to grab a coordinate sheet or download directly to your GPS in-order to grab them as they will not be activated until Veterans day!
3rd -There will be prizes for caches in three events.
Event #1-The fastest time on foot to grab the new caches.(little over 5KM walk or 3.1 miles)
Event #2- The First cacher to log all of my caches in the College hill area (25 caches) same day log
Event #3-The cacher with the best cache story of the day. (Must be logged on the event log)
There will also be door prizes/drawing of prizes all day.
The Event cache prizes will be awarded at the end of the day; if the winner is not available I will make arrangements to get the prize to you.
Whiner award goes to THE CHALKBOARD for all of his calls griping about the coordinates
The Truly LOST award goes to IM LOST AGAIN (who got lost coming to the event)
Fastest cacher to log all of my College Hill caches is????Chalk tried to cheat by logging the caches on the 10th...for that he gets all of his logs deleted!
Best story goes to IM LOST AGAIN who well as I have discovered seems to be LOST all the time. I will have to get you your prize to you via a Dead-drop
