Geocache Description:

A multi cache of which the final location is on Windmill Hill.
You must be careful during 15:00-17:00.
The coordinates are an aproximate location.

The 1st stage is a small sphere-ish container. It is just bigger than a film canister.

The final location is in a small 'drinks' (it's not a bottle) container no bigger than a container classed as small.

Please take time to climb to the top a take a picture of the town centre then stick it on your log.

There is a photograph of Windmill Hill looking up from Hermitage Road in the gallery. Originally called Rawlings Hill, because of the Mill there, it was then known as Windmill Hill after if burnt down. The miller's cottage was still standing on the Hollow Lane side of the hill until 1950; and there was a house built on the hill in the 1920's, but was unpopular and is no longer there. The photograph illustrate quite well I think, just how green the centre of Hitchin is.The main coordinates is the first stage.
