Me and the guys had just finished devouring a Porterhouse Steak swimming in butter with sides of Creamed Spinach and Home Fries accompanied by too many "Jack on the Rocks". We sat around the table, basking in the aura of good friendship and better conversation, while eating unpasteurized Cheeses, drinking Cognac and smoking Cigars. It was then that the subject of the "Pussification" of the younger generation came up. This morphed seamlessly into a discussion of Healthy Foods, as promulgated by daytime TV shows, women's magazines and the "Health" food industry. This cache was the natural outgrowth of that conversation.
Definitions that may prove helpful in solving the puzzle:
- Pussification - See George Carlin.
- Younger Generation - Anyone born after 1950.
- Tasty - A food that contains more Fat than Antioxidants.
- Antioxidants - Molecules, the only proven utility of which, is in the prevention of the degradation of rubber and gasoline.
- Tasteless - Without taste, i.e., Tofu.
- Flavonoids- a group of compounds that have been marketed for possessing extraordinary properties, ironically, not including Flavor.
- Fiber - Material best used in the construction of baskets, hats and brooms. Most often found in roadside stands in the Southwest.
- Vegetables - The stuff they put on your plate to fill up the space around the "Food".
