Geocache Description:

It's a chirping only your GPSr can hear...

Cache is a multicache that requires special equipment, designated as an "unknown" cache per geocaching.com guidelines.

This cache is a "special" multi using the new Garmin wireless beacon, and it only works with Dakota, Oregon, and 62/78 units with the latest firmware. Simply go to the posted coordinates, and your GPSr will receive coordinates for the final stage. An easy 1 mile round-trip walk is all that stands between the receiving the coordinates and the second/final stage.

If you have trouble, make sure that you have the correct device, latest firmware (your geocaching icon should be a treasure box), assure that chirp searching is turned on in Setup>Geocaching, and that the heart rate monitor is turned off. If you can't enable chirp searching in your Setup>Geocaching menu, then you don't have the right device/firmware.

Again, you must have the needed GPSr to get the coordinates to the final stage while at the posted coordinates. Physically finding the wireless beacon won't help. An alternate method to find the final stage is in progress.

Congrats to cajun&southern belle on the FTF on the first wireless beacon cache in Maple Grove!
