Geocache Description:

Located close to Durham County Cricket Ground at Chester-le-Street Riverside. The cache is reached via footpaths and a short walk across the grass - easily accessible for pushchairs. Pay and display parking is nearby.

Before Durham County Cricket Ground was built in the 1990's this area was playing fields. The hawthorn hedge at the cache site has been here since long before - when the area was 'just fields'.

This is a micro cache containing log sheet only - please bring your own pen or pencil.
