~Nobody: All that was required to retrieve this cache was to gently unscrew the top nut from the top housing piece with two (2) fingers. The bison tube was hanging from a hook that I set into the bottom of the nut.
I pounded over 4 feet of pipe through rock and clay with a sledge hammer to set it. I can only imagine the force that was required to pull half of it out of the ground seeing that the threads on the pipe pieces were cemented together .
Anyway, that spot is ruined and the cache is in disrepair so consider it gone. Actually, no need to consider, it is gone - I took what was left and brought it home.
