Five years ago today, the first person finished the classic Washington State DeLorme Challenge placed the previous month by Moun10Bike. Since then, more than 80 additional cachers (March 2019 update - more than 170) have followed, finding their own adventures around our great state.
When Blindleader signed the log book, challenge caches were few and far between. Of course, since then, many more caching challenges have followed, but the DeLorme Challenge is still in a class by itself.
So as my way of thanking Moun10Bike and Haicoole for their creation, as well as being a way of celebrating the fun we've all had thanks to this challenge, I placed this cache as another quick stop that you can make on your trip to the final of the WA DeLorme Challenge. The ammo can is located about a third of the way from the parking to the DeLorme final cache.
As with any cache, bring your own pen or pencil.
