Geocache Description:

The cache is small tupper and it is in Saba shrine.

There are a lot of "Saba shrine" Shrine in the outskirts of here, the
Sakaigawa basin. A military commander of Genji is worshiped, and, it
is said that it is it to avoid the epidemics such as smallpox,
measles, the whooping cough by praying in a day in seven mackerel Saba
shrines. When it turns around incidentally, how about cache hunting?
This is one of “Saba shrine” series. Enjoy!

ここの周辺、境川流域には、「サバ神社」という神社が多数あります。源氏の武将が祀られていて、「サバ」は、鯖、佐婆、左馬などいろいろな漢字を持つ神社がありますが、なぜ漢字が違うのかは分かっていません。また、一日で7つのサバ神社をお参りすることで疱瘡、麻疹、百日咳などの悪病除けになるといいます。キャッシュハントついでに回ってみてはどうでしょうか。このキャッシュは、Saba shrine 2の続編です！お楽しみください!
