Zenkoji Exit : Nagano city is Zenkoji Temple's city
Nagano City is the seat of the Prefectural government in Nagano Prefecture, and the city that prospers as a temple town in Zenkoji Temple.
It is the biggest city in Nagano Prefecture.
Moreover, the second Olympic Winter Games in Japan was held in 1998.
Nagano Station is a station in Shinano Railway, Nagano electric railway, and Hokuriku Shinkansen(JR East).
The station used to be a model of Zenkoji.
The station was rebuilt in the wake of Hokuriku Shinkansen opened just been destroyed.
The fountain and the bronze statue around the station are princesses Nyoze.
The princess Nyoze is a princess who appears in the story of Zenkoji Temple, and the image seems to be suitable for the direction of Zenkoji Temple.
It is a symbol of the station now.

また、1998年には日本で二回目の冬季オリンピックが開催されました。
長野駅はその玄関です。
しなの鉄道、長野電鉄、北陸新幹線の駅になっています。
長野駅は、以前は善光寺がモデルの駅舎でした。
この建物は北陸新幹線開業をきっかけに駅舎が改築され、壊されてしまいました。
駅前にある噴水と銅像は、如是姫です。
如是姫は善光寺縁起に登場する姫で、像は善光寺の方向を向いているそうです。
今では駅のシンボルになっています。
