Buddy's Swimming Hole Traditional Cache
MADD Momma: So disappointed that this cache is gone. It was a tribute to my daughter Katie, who was killed. We used to come for walks in here with our dog Buddy when the kids were little. The log book was filled with heartfelt comments from cachers and I'd love to have it back if someone knows of it's whereabouts, I'd happily pay for postage or come and pick it up. Keep caching on!!

There is a nice trail here along the Speed River. Two paths are available, one is a smooth gravel path and the other winds through the trees along the river. You'll see some very large old trees here.
Our dog Buddy used to haul the kids here on a toboggan in winter and he loved to swim in the river. The cache is dedicated to my daughter Kate, who was murdered in 2010 by a suicidal impaired driver. He is incarcerated for 2nd degree murder.
The cache is a Lok n Lok container covered with camo tape. Inside are small trade items, a log book and pencils.
This is a very high traffic area so stealth is required. As local children build forts in these woods, there are concerns about this cache being found so PLEASE make sure that the cache is well hidden. Try not to make it too obvious as too much camo will draw attention to it but a few sticks and pieces of bark will help to keep it concealed.
Please alert me if it appears that the cache has been found or tampered with by Muggles. If you find it as it should be, you will see why it is so important to me.
