Pre Christmas the Lindis valley is a blaze of colour from the flowering lupins along the roadside and beside the many streams.
This picnic spot along side SH 8 is a convenient stop for a break or a cuppa. At the time we placed the cache it would appear that gale force winds had recently shaken up the area as there was a large amount of light branches covering the area. The cache, a tethered bison tube container and contains a log book only. GPS accuracy may not too good around GZ
Unfortunately much of this pull over area shows many signs of being used as a toilet stop. We have attempted to place the cache in a cleaner area.
