Dewey Know Our Local Cache Owners, The Newbies? Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Trail Reader: I thought that this would be a fairly secluded hide and it has been so for many years. However, graffiti at GZ and a second missing container now say otherwise. Thanks to all who visited! Archived.

Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES.

I thought that it would be fun to combine the indoors of the library with the outdoors of geocaching. Welcome to my world!

The Dewey Decimal Classification System (DDC) was invented by Melvil Dewey. The DDC categorizes nonfiction books by subject matter into ten main divisions which are then further divided into ten subdivisions. The longer the Dewey number, the more specific the subject matter of the book. The DDC is the most widely used classification system in the world--found in libraries in over 100 countries and translated into over 30 languages.

This is the eighth in a series of now eleven Dewey puzzles created to honor the cache owners of the Monterey Bay Area. Do we know these people personally? Probably not. However, we have come to know them by their hides--the type, the container, the placement, the difficulty, etc. For example, most cachers would agree that I have a fondness for rotting logs!

Geocaching is a give-and-take activity and we all depend on the time, energy, and creativity of cache owners to keep our sport alive. If you have not yet hidden a cache, please consider doing so. To those of you who have, thank you!

Since the number of new cache owners has grown in just the past few months, I felt that it was only right to honor The Newbies with this eighth puzzle. Their enthusiasm and creativity has certainly added new life to the local caching scene!

In order to solve this puzzle, you do not need to know these cache owners. By simply using their hide titles, determine the correct coordinates for the cache by classifying each subject in the DDC.
