Geocache Description:

Second in the series of "River Runs Through It" caches....this is a nice spot! Take some time to relax along the creek somewhere nearby...

"I sat there and forgot and forgot, until what remained was the river that went by and I who watched. On the river the heat mirages danced with each other and then they danced through each other and then they joined hands and danced around each other. Eventually the watcher joined the river, and there was only one of us. I believe it was the river." --Norman McClean in the short story "The River Runs Through It"

The cache is on the north side of the creek...the maps are showing it on the south side. It is a timbered ravine so your coordinates might jump a bit. If you think like a geocache, it is in a rational caching location.

If you are interested in the other cache in this series, it is on Montana Creek and called "haunted by waters".

Placed under Chugach State Park permit 099-076.
