Quick roadside grab on SH 8
On the section of highway 8 between Omarama and Birchwood Rd many small rock cairns have sprung up along the roadside. Some are very simple and others are quiet elaborate as travellers have been challenged to have a go also. As new cairns have sprung up so have caches, this being the 3rd in the series.
The cache is a 100ml plastic container with logbook and pencil.
Your challenge is to find the cache and then to build a small cairn to rehide the cache on the same site. We suggest that you also include a photo of the cairn that you have created which may assist the next cacher and also be added to our picture gallery for this site.
