Frankton Frolics are a series of caches in and around the hamlet of Welsh Frankton which sits midway between Whittington village and the market town of Ellesmere, astride a ridge known as The Brow and has stunning views across the Shropshire Plain.
I recommend Parking at approx. N 52 53.227 W 002 57.598 in a large layby. From here you can follow the gated lane down to the canal to avoid crossing the very busy and fast A495.
A short walk along the towpath will bring you to this cache, near to a popular mooring place for narrowboats, for obvious reasons!
