Geocache Description:

This is a quick cache and dash located at Ballymorran Bay. It is best approached from Killinchy village along the Whiterock Road and then onto the Ballymorran Road. The Ballymorran Road offers nice views over Strangford Lough but please take care as it is narrow and used frequently by other traffic.

Ballymorran Bay is a small bay in Strangford Lough which is abundant with wildlife and there is an old disused Quay which was one used for export of local produce and the import of coal.

The cache is a small tab loc box covered in black tape. When placed it contained a log book, pencli, stash note and some small swapables. Please ensure cache is concealed when replacing it.

The area is suitable for wheelchairs users bearing in mind you are on a public road. There is parking for several cars within 100 metres of the cache. Please look after children as you are on a public road and there is a quay near to the cache.
