A small cache able to accommodate coins and small TB's.
Lovely Views of Cowdenknowes House can be seen from the newly opened Leaderfoot Pathway.
This cache is hidden next to the Sorrowlessfield Footbridge on part of the Earlston Circular Walk Pathway.
If approaching from GC2K00:- please DO NOT use the driveway past Cowdenknowes House as the owner does not want people walking past his property, the Clock Tower or tennis courts ............. Unfortunately you will probably be able to see the steps leading to the waterside but instead it is preferred that you continue up the old drive, following the yellow markers, down through the wood, left past the Gardeners Cottage and then right down to the waterside. (This will add no more than a few minutes onto your walk but is undoubtedly a bit of a pain.
The Cache is located down the hill on the South side of the river.
If approaching from the lay-by on the A68 then your route is straightforward and clear by following the yellow markers.
Entering Private Property is NOT required for this cache.
Please take care to hide the cache well.
