Nice hike on the Ripple Rock Trail. Thought we would put some caches out here to try and get more people to come on the trail and see some of the history that put Campbell River on the map. Yes, you are getting closer to the Big Bang (GC49BD) The cache overlooks Nymphe Cove The trail is in a lot better shape since the last time I was here. There are a lot of new bridges and stairs now. It still can be difficult in some parts so wear good footwear and dress properly for the weather.
Cache is a small lock-n-lock. Bring your own writing instrument because I forget if there was a pencil in it or not. The cache is right along the trail, no need to leave the trail, under big rock. Went to do maintenance today (Sept 21st 2014) could not find the original, it wasn't where I had hid it. Please put it back where you find it so the next person can have an enjoyable experience.
