Geocache Description:

Located in the Hanging Bog Forest Reserve with the permission of the DEC, it is just up the slope from the Pond. Lots of Pine trees to interfere with Sat Signals. The Cache is not under or in a downed tree ( tree still present) it is however covered...

In a tribute to My Father who is a local proponent for land use management I placed this Cache at the first campsite he used back in 1967. The Land is part of the forest Management Section of the Hanging Bog. It is marshy and a easy hike from Brown Road or in winter use the New Hudson Road and Trek Back.
It is an easy find as the Cache is a YELLOW 10 inch Pelican Box laid at ground level though covered.. $5.00 is in it for the first finder. Please take a moment to enjoy the lands and watch out for hunters during Deer season.
