Geocache Description:

***WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES, AS A PREVIOUS CACHER FOUND A LITTLE MORE THAN JUST THE CACHE!

CONGRATS TO John & Jeannie on being the FTF!!! Glad they enjoyed the CD!

Cache is a tin containing log book, music for your travels, and trade items. Please make sure you cover up as you found it. Nice spot to pull in off the road in front of the gate, but watch out for my Dad's cow mugglers!

Please log your visit AND ALSO YOUR REVIEW OF THE CD!! : ) THX!

This is known as the Dead-End Dairy because my parents bought this place in 1971, built the 3 room dairy that's still standing (which my Mom says was nicer than the 10x45 trailer she was living in at the time), and tried to make a go of it in the cow-milking industry. After working at it for 7 years or so, and dealing with life's little unexpected trials, such as the milk market hitting bottom, disease, and government stupidity, they soon realized it was a "dead-end." My dad has since used this place to raise hundreds of square bales of top quality alfalfa and now uses it to run his cattle. My mom said when she was a girl that "she would NEVER marry a dairy farmer." I guess the moral to this story is "NEVER SAY NEVER!"

Thanks for checking out our story and cache!
