There is nothing great about this cache, the hide and container are
average at best. What is great about this cache though, is what it
is a tribute to.
This year marks the 3rd annual Great ... Rush Event held by the
Tulameen Turtles.
The 1st event, The Great Coal Rush (GC1HMDA), was held in Tulameen
in 2009. The event included geocaching in Tulameen, Coalmont, and
Blakeburn areas. My geocaching highlight of the weekend: Lover`s
Leap (GC1QKBA)
The 2nd event, The Great Copper Rush (GC22HKY), was held in
Princeton in 2010. The event included geocaching in the historic
Similkameen Valley. The weekend was highlighted by awesome
geocaching, Whipsaw 4x4ing, and the Tulameen Turtles wedding.
The 3rd event, The Great Confuzzled Rush (GC2M265), looks to be
held in Coalmont in July 2011. The event will include geocaching in
???
If you enjoy camping, geocaching (geocaching for this event can be
catered to your specific interests), making new friends, good food
(Chili cook off this year), and poker (optional of course), then
you should make sure you attend this years event. Warning, these
events are highly addictive.
