"Parabola" is a song by the American progressive metal band Tool, the song was released as the second single from their third studio album Lateralus.
The song was played onboard Space Shuttle mission STS-130, as a wake-up call for astronaut Robert Behnken!!!
Due to Tool's incorporation of visual arts and relatively long and complex releases, the band is generally described as a style-transcending act and part of progressive rock and art rock. The relationship between the band and today's music industry is ambivalent, at times marked by censorship and the band members' insistence on privacy.
Maynard James Keenan is the lead singer of Tool, he was born and spent his early life in RAVENNA, Ohio. (this cache is in Ravenna)
