The above co-ordinates are a convenient starting point where you can park your car, bicycle, horse or perambulator.
Proceed downhill to the first way-point at S 36 49.112, E 174 38.568.
On arrival go off track about 1.5m, remembering that right can be wrong. Here you will find certain information, which you will need in order to determine the cache co-ordinates. Similar information will be contained at Stage 2 and Stage 3
