Geocache Description:


Cairns



This cache will bring you to a spot to observe an interesting phenomenon that has recently started to appear along the river bed of the Hutt River. I'm not sure what the driver for this is, who is doing it, how long they will last, etc but as long as they remain, there will be a cache here to celebrate their existence!

About the cache
The cache is a small camo'd pill container with room for a logsheet only. Best bring your own writing stick if you wish to log your find.

About the location
To safely get to the cache location, you *must* drive north along SH2 and pull over where the Hutt River Trail is closest to the road. Do not attempt a U-turn on SH2 as it is both illegal and dangerous. Plenty of parking is available. If you have Geohounds or young children caching with you, please keep them on a short leash as the GZ is very near the busy highway...

Logging Your Find
I am using a log sheet for all Geocachers to record their success, and when it is full, I will scan the logsheet and attach its image to this cache entry as an archive! Please let me know when the logsheet is nearing maintenance time and I will supply a new sheet.
