Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series set around the picturesque village of Chipping, in the heart of the Ribble Valley, on the edge of the Trough of Bowland. A walk approximately 2 hours.

It could be done as a stand alone cache, more or less a drive by using the lay by parking (see waypoint).

TEMPORARY CACHE IN PLACE DUE TO RECENT AMOUNT OF RAIN - a small bison container. Pencil needed.

With the backdrop of Parlick fell, it is clear to see why it is an 'Area of Outstanding Beauty'. There are also lovely views of Longridge fell from this part of Chipping.

This particular cache is located in the field used for annual Agricultural Show in August (next show will be August 2019)! See related web link.

The public footpath through the field leads you closer to Chipping village.
