Cache has been moved across the canal due to a couple recently added "NO TRESSPASSING" signs.
Small Lock n Lock hidden at Teche Vermilions Ruth Canal structure.
The Ruth Canal Structure is the second location where water pumped from the Atchaflaya River is diverted from Bayou Teche to the Vermilion. The cache is located about half way between the gate and the control structor. The Gate is always locked unless we are there doing maintenace or cutting grass, but it is easy to pass thru and unless you're caught with some explosives or blocking our way, we don't mind and will be happy to answer questions about the Ruth Canal structure or Teche Vermilion in general. The cache is a short walk past gate. Cache is right off road and at woods edge so ground may be wet after a rain. FTF gets a kinda risque set of nice mardi gras beads.
This cache satisfies St. Martin Parish and grid 44 of the Delorme.
