Fishing in the urban jungle
I have lived in this area all my life (~1000 ft from the cache) and it came to me today to hide one here. This odd little concrete channel running thru the neighborhood has always intrigued me. It rarely has water in it, except for when it rains a lot. Its mans solution to controlling nature. What used to probably be a babbling brook flowing out of the quicksilver mines area, is now a guided flow to the los alamitos creek. It flows under and around houses and streets so as not to inconvience society. There are no longer any fish in this stream though...just sludge and mosquitos and frogs.
The cache youre looking for is a micro cache. Color varies from time to time based on replacement. I'm rating this a 4.0 on the difficulty scale because the area is exposed and next to houses and a busy street. BE STEALTHY!!! Neighbors are very vigilant in this area!!! Use caution during school hours as there are many children and parents walking by! There should be plenty of on street parking most of the time though! The cache is NOT on the property of the houses or the condos on either side of the stream, nor do you have to go on the other side of the fence. Study the title of the cache and the hint to help find the cache
