The co-ordinates above are not those of the final cache - but it is nearby. The walk to gather the co-ordinates is both wheelchair-user and child friendly and is perfectly flat. It is in a residential area (good street parking) but, beware muggles. Final cache may need a helper to reach. The cache is a circular tupperware box in a waterproof black bag. There's a log book, pencil and goodies. It's at chest height.
As a long time follower of our national game, it was both delightful and ironic when I moved on to an estate where all the roads are named after football grounds! I decided to try hiding my first cache round and about and, to make it more fun, throw a few footie-related clues in there. The cache is hidden close by to the starting co-ordinates, but six individual clues below must be solved first.
Visit the six sites indicated in the Waypoints. Each takes you to a road named after a former or present football ground. Each question you answer will point you towards a particular letter of the alphabet. The letters indicated follow the pattern a=1, b=2, c=3 etc. When you have solved all clues, the final location you seek is:
