I approached this one from the north and from where I parked I had to keep up a good pace to make it back over my lunch break (at least it was a short drive). I don't know if street parking is legal in the nearby development, if so there looks to be a trail that leads to this forest preserve from there, for closer access.
Lately I have been going caching over my lunch breaks and I have found most of the ones that are close enough to work that with a short drive and a little hike I can be back to work on time. So now I have started bringing caches with me to hide. I just find a place to park by some trails and start walking. When it's time to turn back I look for a place to place a cache then head back. I don't know where each path will take me, but I'm having fun exploring.
