as a part of a series in tribute to the Big Men of the LA Lakers =Kobe Bryant (now on his 16th season with the Lakers, most of all Lakers ever)
You may already know of him, as he's made quite a career in his time with the Lakers. Kobe Bryant was the first of a slew of teenagers to skip college and enter the NBA, and spoken of as the best basketball player on the planet, playing now. Bryant is a (fantastic) shooting guard who is capable of playing the small forward position. He is considered one of the most complete players in the NBA,[153][154] has been selected to every All-NBA Team since 1999, and has been featured in the last twelve NBA All-Star games.[2] Sports writers and sports casters have frequently compared Bryant to Michael Jordan, a comparison Bryant dislikes.[155] In 2007, an ESPN poll of sportswriters voted him as the second best shooting guard in NBA history behind Jordan.[154] He is a prolific scorer, averaging 25.3 points per game for his career, along with 5.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.5 steals (as of the end of the 2009–2010 regular season).[156] He is known for his ability to create shots for himself. He shares the single-game NBA record for three pointers made with twelve.[157] Bryant is often cited as one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA,[158] though his 45.5% career field goal average is considered moderate. He utilizes his wide array of moves and shots to elude defenders and score from virtually anywhere on the basketball floor. Aside from this, he is also a standout defender, having made the All-Defensive first or second team ten of the last eleven seasons.[2] Both TNT and Sporting News named Bryant the NBA Player of the Decade for 2000–2009.[159][160] Bryant has also been noted for his clutch play. For nine consecutive seasons, Bryant has been selected by an NBA GM survey as the player they most want taking the shot with the game on the line.[161] - This from Wikipedia
On the Cache: IF... you're already familiar with my Lakers Big Men tribute (in Abq and Santa Fe), you have a distinct advantage on finding this one.
For the rest of you, you may want to bring a small step-stool (if you aren't big) as it's UP THERE! Not sure about the rating, as I'm pretty biased having placed a bunch of these already, but I'm as tall as Kobe, so for me these are easy! Lots of possible muggle-activity, so flex the stealth-muscles! Log and small trinket-room, but no stylus (BYOP).
