Geocache Description:




NEFGA will be hosting our Eighth Annual Caching for the Holidays event on December 4th at Mike Roess Gold Head State Park.There is an $5.00 per vehicle access fee to enter the park.

Event starts at 11am and lunch will be served around noon after the event activities, if you can't make the event come for lunch at least.

The NEFGA Board will be serving fresh subs for a traditonal Saturday in the Park Picnic. Please plan on bringing a side dish and/or baked goods to compliment the entree. No utensils/cups/or plates are needed. Please post what you plan on bringing so we can get a good variety.

Event Activities

  • Gift Exchange-11:45
  • Lunch 12:00
  • Gold Head Park Scavenger Hunt 12:30-1:30
  • Raffle/Door Prizes- 2:00
  • Cookie exchange
Cookie Exchange
Make 6 dozen of the same kind of cookies. Package them in individual baggies and have 5 copies of the recipe. One dozen will be for the attendees to enjoy and the other 5 will be for you to exchange for cookies brought in by others.
Attendee Gift Exchange
We will be doing a gift exchange among ourselves, but it will be different than your normal white or pink elephant exchange. The rules will be explained at the event, just bring a $10 or less gift to exchange.
