There is a special FTF prize waiting for the
first person to rescue him - Check the 'T' Shirt and all will be
revealed.
The cartridge will lead you on a tour of the
Lickey Hills covering approximately 3 miles or so and should take
around 1 to 1.5 hours to complete dependant on the routes and
decisions you take along the way.
Please be aware that the terrain can be
extremely muddy at times and some parts are very hilly and
potentially unsafe to traverse dependant on age and fitness levels.
It is therefore recommended that you stay on the main paths at all
times unless you are confident in your abilities, especially when
going down certain slopes.
Please remember that if there has been any rain
recently, slopes can become very slippery and sometimes tree roots
may be concealed which may cause a trip hazard or be unusually
slippery. Please take care and most importantly - enjoy the
environment.
The Lickey Hills can be very busy at times and
very tranquil at others. It is a fantastic area which is steeped in
history. To find out more about it, why not visit "The Visitor
Centre" while you are there.
The final cache location involves a slight
detour from the main path and a bit of crouching and creeping to
reach the site. I placed the cache during the winter months when
brambles, ferns and other general foliage were at a minimum. If you
are searching for this during the spring and summer months, it may
therefore be more difficult to reach. You might want to consider
taking a local guide and Machete just in case - it's a jungle out
there!
