I'm not sure why there isn't a cache around here somewhere. Maybe I'll find out. During all the poker machine, casino, lottery and all around gambling controvercy going on quite a few years back, The original Home of Evangeline Downs was just North of Interstate 10 in Lafayette Parish. The parish at the time voted down gambling at the track, so they packed up and moved here. The cache is a pill bottle with limited room. You'll need to drive all the way around to the back. It should be an easy P&G most times. There always seems to be some kind of new construction going on so be aware of what around you.
This cache satisfies St. Landry Parish and grid 43 of the Delorme.
